Overview

A tower defense game needs to present a daunting but still fair challenge that gives you plenty of time to adjust your strategy. This game presents a selection of different courses and paths with a lot of vantage points to build all your different towers. If can be generous with the amount of power you build up so that you can easily build and sell new towers as need be. The thing is that you need to come up with a strategy that ensures enough delay in enemy advancement so that you can make the necessary changes while there's still time.

Gameplay and Experience

Space Tower Defense is a 3D tower defense game about protecting your base using the mouse and keyboard. The arrow keys can be used to move the camera around the map to see the layout of the map. The cursor is used to navigate the tower UI and select which towers you want to build by clicking on their icons with the Left Mouse button. You then have to choose an open space (indicated by green outlines) to place the tower. The goal of each level is to keep your base safe until your towers have eliminated all the waves. When the level begins, you have a limited amount of energy to place your first few towers. After they've been placed, the waves will start coming. Your health and energy are shown in the top left corner and the wave progression is shown in the top right corner. When the bar fills up, the wave will end. Your base is indicated by a highlighted red area on the path and if an enemy reaches it, you'll lose health. If your health drops to zero, you'll need to restart the level. Before you place a tower, you can see its effective range. After it's been placed, it will automatically fire at any enemies that enter its range. By clicking on the tower, you can choose to upgrade it or sell it. Each tower can be upgraded twice which improves its related stats.
