Overview
There's a simple joy that comes from knocking things down maybe due to the whole spectacle of the process. That's why games like this one continue to thrive because it's all about having the biggest toys to knock the biggest structures down. At the same time, you're against it because opponents are trying to knock you down. They want to experience the same joy that comes from watching your structures fall to pieces on the ground. The strange thing is that even if your structure falls, you'll still get that spectacle. But, you're driven to make and watch other opponent's structures fall instead. This game captures the thrill of an upgrade tower battle, where improving your fortress makes all the difference.
Gameplay and Experience
Tower Crush is a 2D competitive game about trying to knock down your opponent's castle using the mouse. You can click the section of your tower you want to control with the Left Mouse Button or select multiple sections by clicking and dragging over them. To select a target, just click an opponent's section after you've selected your own. The sections will attack automatically until they're destroyed. The game is broken up into levels each representing a different opponent and the goal is to beat them all. Your tower has multiple sections or floors with the owner sitting at the very top. Each floor can have one weapon assigned to it. They can also be assigned to attack different targets or multiple floors can attack the same target. As floors take damage, they'll show signs of wear and tear. When a floor is destroyed, the weapon is removed and the owner falls down a level. You're aiming to destroy all of the opponent's floors first. The health bars are displayed at the top of the screen. If you appreciate games where you build and destroy tower structures, you'll have plenty of creative options here. In addition to weapons, you also have access to power-ups which charge up as shown by a meter between the health bars. You can have a choice of three power-ups at a time, all of them sharing the same cooldown. Power-ups range from support abilities like being able to repair floors to offensive ones like raining fire down on your opponent. Be careful though, as the opponent can use abilities as well. Lastly, in between levels you have the chance to visit the shop. This is where you can equip different power-ups and upgrade all aspects of your tower. You can add more floors, upgrade them to make them stronger, buy/equip weapons, and upgrade them as well. You'll earn gold by completing levels with the number of stars indicating how intact your own tower is at the end. Fans of a fierce fortress combat game or anyone seeking a tense two tower duel will be right at home here.
